About this event

The TODO Steering Committee will explore the impact of layoffs and hiring freezes on organizations that engage in open source and their respective OSPOs. We will discuss the challenges and good/bad practices of establishing metrics and other qualitative communication mechanisms to demonstrate the value of OSPOs, which often focus on risk mitigation rather than community health.

Additionally, our panelists will share recommendations on ways to educate leadership teams on the value of OSPOs, as well as identify opportunities for OSPOs to demonstrate their value, such as supporting key open source projects to the organization.
