A Legal Guide To Open Works

TODO Group | OSPOlogy

About this event

Films, music, buildings, sketches, speeches, documents, books, comics, software, all these works have in common the law that protects them. All intellectual creations are proprietary by default, however, authors can grant the public permission to use their creative work under copyright law, and the authors can use open licenses to make their content available to everyone. The Free Software Office of the Xunta de Galicia decided to facilitate the task of releasing content and software and create an open guide to apply open licences and manage their community.

This guide is part of the actions carried out by the Xunta de Galicia, which annually establishes an action plan to promote the increased use of free software in Galicia, in business, public administration and citizenship, always within the framework of the Galicia Digital Strategy 2030
