Information Session for GEISA, the Grid Edge Interoperability and Security Alliance

LF Energy

Mar 26, 7:00 – 10:00 PM (UTC)

About this event

Come learn about GEISA, the Grid Edge Interoperability and Security Alliance, a new effort within LF Energy to define an interoperability specification for edge computing on smart meters and distribution automation devices. Meet with members of the GEISA team. Learn about the work that's been done to date, how you can participate, and how you can benefit.

The LF Energy GEISA project is aimed at creating an ecosystem where energy systems are more efficient, secure, and adaptable to shape the grid of the future. By creating an open source, interoperable platform, GEISA enables utilities, grid operators, and innovators to integrate new technologies seamlessly. This leads to smarter grids, optimized energy use, and faster adaptation to renewable energy sources. GEISA is not just about technology—it's about empowering a more sustainable, reliable, and resilient energy future. Learn more about GEISA at https://lfenergy.org/projects/geisa/.

Registration for DISTRIBUTECH is required to attend this event.

The event will take place from 2-5pm local time in Dallas, in room D223 at DISTRIBUTECH.

LF Energy will be holding three separate sessions during this event. Two will be focused on utilities and other users of the GEISA platform. One will be focused specifically on platform vendors. While attendees are welcome to attend any session they choose, the Platform session will focus more on technical implementation than the general session. The schedule of sessions is listed under the Agenda below.
