GridChat is a GenAI-powered copilot designed to support GridLAB-D users in improving their power distribution modeling experience. Built on AWS and powered by Amazon Bedrock, GridChat uses Large Language Models (LLMs) to help users navigate GLM syntax, troubleshoot simulations, and access real-time, up-to-date documentation, making complex tasks easier for everyone.

In this session, we’ll start by introducing LF Energy Arras Energy. We’ll showcase GridLAB-D, the core engine for Arras Energy’s platform, and walk through the AWS architecture that powers GridChat. You’ll also see a live demo of how this tool bridges advanced modeling needs with practical, real-time support.
