About this event

The Digital Substation Automation Systems MeetUp aims to lower the barrier for collaboration, to share ideas and have a fun and practical few days working on and discussing topics related to substations and in particular CoMPAS and OpenSCD.

Agenda

8:00 AM	Introduction and Ice-breaking	* Welcome speech and overview of the agenda. * Ice-breaking activity to help team members get to know each other.
8:30 AM	Project Overview	* Presentation of OpenSCD and CoMPAS. * Breakdown of project goals, current status, and challenges. * Allocation of teams to each project based on expertise and interest.
9:30 AM	Hands-on Work	Teams dive into practical work on their respective projects. Mentors available for guidance and support. Periodic check-ins to assess progress and address any roadblocks.
11:30 AM	Lunch break
12:30 PM	Collaborative Work and Knowledge Sharing	* Teams continue coding, testing, and collaborating on their projects. * Scheduled knowledge-sharing sessions: Each team presents progress, challenges faced, and proposed solutions to the other team. * Hands-on workshop on how we build plugins for OpenSCD using Lit. During this workshop we will create a plugin from scratch and setup a development workspace for faster prototyping. * Q&A and feedback sessions for cross-pollination of ideas.
2:30 PM	Networking and Team-building Activity	* Engaging team-building exercise to foster collaboration and communication. * Networking session for informal interactions among team members.
3:30 PM	Reflection and Planning	* Each team reflects on the day’s progress and plans for the next day. * Closing remarks and reminders for the following day's agenda.
